Ratanda-born African Long Jump record holder, Khotso ‘The Croc’ Mokoena, yesterday launched a movement that will bridge the gap between the suffering athlete, young entrepreneurs, business leaders and aspiring business/women.

The Entrepreneurial Sports Walk that was initiated by the Khotso Mokoena Foundation will focus on creating an annual platform that will allow youngsters (athletes, business minds, creatives) throughout South Africa to interact with senior business and like-minded people whilst tackling an 8km or 4km walk.

“It’s also concerning that many of South Africa’s leading sportmen and women come to an end of their sporting career and suddenly are unemployed” mentioned Mokoena in his press release. This walk, in retrospect, will thus focus on instilling a mindset in athletes from a young age at the HPC High School and many other stars.

More details to follow about this great initiative that might just change the face of business in sport in South Africa forever.
